University Open House Countdown
During the event, NC State’s Main and Centennial Campuses will be open to explore. There’s no formal schedule, so you can stop by anytime between 9 a.m. and 2 p.m. (ET). You’ll have the opportunity to attend admissions and academic information sessions, tour campus facilities, speak with faculty, staff and current NC State students.
A final schedule of events will be available in early October. Register to receive up-to-date information and details as the schedule is announced.
We expect a large number of visitors for Open House. In order to avoid heavy traffic, you have the option of starting your visit at one of five parking decks. All campus parking is free during the event.

UNIVERSITY OPEN HOUSE
What are you doing on campus to help ensure the health and safety for visitors and the NC State community?
Wear a face covering. Beginning Aug. 2, and until further notice, all students, faculty, staff and visitors are required to wear face coverings while indoors on campus, including in housing, classrooms and laboratories, as well as in any off-campus building or facility owned, controlled, managed or leased by NC State for the university’s use, and when using the Wolfline bus system, other forms of public transportation serving the NC State campus, or riding in university passenger vans or buses.
Face coverings will not be required in outdoor spaces for vaccinated individuals, but are encouraged, especially in large crowds. Anyone who has not been fully vaccinated should continue wearing a face covering outdoors. Visit https://www.ncsu.edu/coronavirus/ for more information.
Are you required to register?
Yes! We ask that campus visitors register to receive important information prior to the event.
When will the schedule be available?
The University Open House schedule will be announced at the beginning of October. Visitors will need to use a digital guide to access the Open House schedule. Students can plan to connect with current students, staff, and faculty representing various departments and colleges.
Do I have to stay the entire time?
It is not necessary to stay for the duration of the event. We recommend viewing the schedule and list of activities associated with Open House and planning your day accordingly so you can get the most out of your visit.
Is there a campus tour?
University Open House is an open program with many ways to explore campus! There is no formal tour. You will have the opportunity to tour campus throughout the day and during departmental visits.
What should I wear?
University Open House takes place both inside and outside on campus. We recommend wearing comfortable, casual clothing and walking shoes.

We are bringing a bus with a group of students to Open House. What should we do?
We encourage your students to register individually.
Main Campus Drop Off/Pick Up
Coliseum Surface Lot located on the southside of the Coliseum Deck off of Cates Avenue.
Centennial Campus Drop Off/Pick Up
Wilson College of Textiles, 1020 Main Campus Dr, Raleigh, NC 27606.
Bus parking is available in the gravel lot on Varsity Drive across from the Joyner Visitor Center-1210 Varsity Dr, Raleigh, NC 27606. Buses will need to park in the gravel lot on Varsity Drive until it is time to pick the students up again.
